IuteCredit grows on Mintos again by launching car loans from Moldova

IuteCredit has yet again expanded its presence on the Mintos p2p lending marketplace and has launched Moldova-issued car loans. This is in addition to the personal loans already offered for investment in the country by the loan originator.

IuteCredit Group commenced its operations in Moldova in 2008. It is currently one of the alternative finance market leaders in the country with a net loan portfolio of EUR 29 million as at the end of January 2019.

IuteCredit now offers loans from Kosovo for investment on Mintos p2p marketplace

IuteCredit has yet again expanded its investment offering on Mintos by placing its consumer loans issued in Kosovo on the marketplace. This is in addition to the loans that were already available for investment from IuteCredit in Albania and Moldova.

IuteCredit Group was founded in 2008 and operates in Moldova, Albania, Macedonia and Kosovo. The Group has a net loan portfolio of EUR 30 million and has helped more than 200 000 customers. It aims to create the extraordinary experience in personal finance, by exceeding customer´s expectations.

The average Kosovo-issued loan on Mintos from IuteCredit will be EUR 400 with a repayment period of 8 months. The expected return for investors will be up to 11%. As Kosovo has adopted the Euro (EUR) as its official currency,  the loans by IuteCredit are offered in its local currency on the marketplace.

To align its interests with those of investors, IuteCredit will retain 10% of each loan placed on Mintos on its balance sheet. All Kosovo-issued loans from IuteCredit will come with a buyback guarantee and the company will undertake the obligations of repurchasing delinquent loans.

IuteCredit started its operations in Kosovo in November of 2017 and is regulated by the central bank of Kosovo. It is currently one of the alternative finance market leaders in the country. Since its inception, more than 8 000 loans have been issued in Kosovo worth more than EUR 3.5 million. As at the end of August 2018 its net loan portfolio in the country is EUR 2.2 million.

The Republic of Kosovo is Europe’s youngest country as it declared its independence from Serbia on February 17, 2008. According to the World Bank, during 2009 to 2017 real GDP grew on average by 3.5% each year. According to Investment Climate Statements for 2017, in 2016, the country ratified a strategic investment law. This was in order to ease market access for investors in key sectors.

To obtain exposure to IuteCredit Kosovo loans, investors will be able to invest in loans issued by Mintos Finance to IuteCredit Kosovo, where repayments depend on the borrower’s payments. Each loan issued by Mintos Finance to IuteCredit Kosovo will be pegged to a respective loan issued by IuteCredit Kosovo to the final borrower. Mintos Finance is a Mintos group company.

There are now more investment opportunities from Moldova on Mintos p2p marketplace

The Mintos marketplace just got bigger as IuteCredit Group now offers personal loans for investment in Moldova. This is in addition to IuteCredit personal loans issued in Albania already on the marketplace.

IuteCredit Group was founded in 2008 and operates in Moldova, Albania, Macedonia and Kosovo. The Group has a loan portfolio of EUR 20 million and has helped more than 170 000 customers. It aims to be the fastest and most efficient personal loan provider in the region.

The average Moldova-issued loan on Mintos from IuteCredit will be EUR 400 with a repayment period of 13 months. The expected return for investors will be up to 12%.

The group has been profitable since 2010. Currently, IuteCredit Moldova has 41 000 customers. The average maturity of loans is 13 months, and the annual percentage rate (APR) is 74%.

IuteCredit joined Mintos in June 2017 offering to invest in personal loans issued in Albania. To date, EUR 4 million has been financed through the marketplace.

Consumer finance company IuteCredit has joined the Mintos marketplace

Consumer finance company IuteCredit has joined the Mintos marketplace and is placing personal loans issued in Albania on the marketplace. IuteCredit Group is an Estonia-based company that operates in Albania and Moldova. It aims to be the fastest and most comfortable credit provider in the region.

The average annual net return for IuteCredit loans offered to investors is expected to reach up to 14%. The average loan placed on the Mintos marketplace will be for EUR 500-700 with a maturity of 12-18 months. Loans delinquent for more than 60 days will be covered by a buyback guarantee. To retain its “skin in the game”, the company will keep at least 10% of each loan available on the Mintos marketplace on its balance sheet.

Since its founding in 2014, IuteCredit Albania has issued 20 000 consumer loans ranging from EUR 75 to EUR 1 500. The company’s loan portfolio has reached EUR 3.4 million. The average share of loans 30 days past due is 14%. To sustain its operations, the company employs a team of 24. The company’s operations are regulated by the Central Bank of Albania.

Apart from its operations in Albania, IuteCredit Group owns a subsidiary in Moldova, founded in 2008. The management of IuteCredit Group is also considering placing loans issued in Moldova on the Mintos marketplace in the near future.

IuteCredit Group has been profitable since 2010 and is audited by Ernst & Young. As of May 2017, the Group’s consolidated loan portfolio exceeds EUR 10 million. The company has more than 120 000 customer relationships and more than 35 000 loans outstanding. The average maturity of loans is 11 months, and the annual percentage rate (APR) is 70%. Historically, more than 90% of loans issued have been repaid in full.
